Two families, one mid-Michigan table.
When the Snodgrass and Davenport families came together, we found we shared the same quiet conviction — that the most meaningful celebrations deserve a place that feels as rooted as the people gathered in it. For generations, our families have made mid-Michigan home, tending land, raising children, and showing up for each other through every season worth marking.
Grass & Port Venue Co. is our way of extending that same welcome to yours. We’re building a place where the grass is real, the details are considered, and the moments that matter most are given the room they deserve.

A working landscape of open mid-Michigan sky, mature trees, and tall grass — with indoor and outdoor spaces shaped for every part of the day. Ceremonies at golden hour, dinner as the light turns, and dancing long after the last course is cleared.

A full bar stocked with Michigan-made spirits, regional wines, and thoughtful zero-proof options for the guests who prefer them. We believe the toast matters as much as the vow, and the glass you raise it in should feel as considered as every other detail of the day.
